CALM membership is voluntary.
Regular members may be holders of a master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory diagnostics (biomedical science), or certified laboratory technicians from Croatia or abroad who are Croatian citizens.
Associate members may be healthcare professionals from Croatia or abroad, as well as non-healthcare professionals who contribute to the goals of CALM.
Temporary members may be high school or university students of medical students of medical laboratory diagnostics course in Croatia.
Honorary members are individuals who, through their work, have contributed in any way to the advancement of medical laboratory diagnostics (biomedical science) in Croatia and especially to the realization of CALM’s objectives.
Honorary membership is granted by decision of the Management Board.

Membership in CALM may be terminated by:
- voluntary withdrawal (by submitting a written resignation),
- failure to pay the membership fee for two consecutive years despite receiving a notice,
- death, or expulsion by decision of the CALM General Assembly.
