GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

GENERAL PROVISIONS

The general terms and conditions of personal data protection apply to personal data contained on the website and which are processed, i.e. collected and stored by HULM from natural person users as respondents through the use of the website. HULM collects personal data for the purpose of concluding and fulfilling purchase and sale contracts, recording completed customer orders, unique user identification, business analysis, marketing, implementation of the reward system, product delivery, preparation of documentation related to the purchase and sale, technical support and authorization of payments via credit and debit cards.

HULM, as a website service provider, is committed to protecting privacy and personal data. Users are asked to read the General Terms and Conditions to better understand what data HULM  collects and how and for what purposes it uses it.

CHANGES TO THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

HULM may amend or supplement the General Terms and Conditions for the Protection of Personal Data at any time by publishing the amended text on the website. Amendments to the General Terms and Conditions for the Protection of Personal Data shall enter into force immediately upon publication on the website.

The user, as the data subject, is responsible and obliged to review and study the applicable General Terms and Conditions for the Protection of Personal Data, which are available on the website, before providing any personal data.

PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED AND USE OF PERSONAL DATA

 

On the website hulm.hr , the following personal data of the respondents are collected: name and surname, password, telephone number, address, e-mail address, product delivery address, invoice delivery address, postal code, city, date of birth. They may have insight into the personal data of the users, in the performance of their work related to purchase contracts that customers conclude with the following persons: legal entities that participate in the performance of purchase contracts such as delivery services, accounting services, IT support, marketing support, affiliated companies, public bodies that require the delivery of personal data in accordance with binding regulations, and for which HULM  maintains personal data collections.

The customer agrees that HULM  may process the provided personal data for the purposes of its own records and statistics, for the purposes of creating a customer database, informing about products and services, for the purposes of informing about deliveries, for the purposes of delivering promotional materials, improving customer relations and improving services. The said data may be provided to third parties for the purpose of executing the contract, protecting the interests of the user and preventing possible abuse, the need for better insight and understanding of the individual needs and requirements of the user, as well as developing the possibility of providing all services of the highest quality, which results in increased customer satisfaction. HULM  will keep personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes provided for in these General Terms and Conditions.

HULM will ensure that the user’s personal information is kept in a secure place (which includes reasonable administrative, technical and physical protection to prevent unauthorized use, access, disclosure, copying or modification of personal information), which can only be accessed by authorized persons.

HULM undertakes to provide users with access to their personal data in its possession in order to ensure that the personal data is accurate, complete and up-to-date.
If users request correction or deletion of their personal data, HULM will modify or remove such data.

HULM
 forwards the necessary personal data exclusively to business partners for the purpose of fulfilling the delivery of the customer’s order or for the purpose of addressing printed advertising materials.
HULM does not record or store the users’ transaction data required for card payments.
HULM will retain personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in these General Terms and Conditions.

Personal data in personal data collections are appropriately protected against accidental or intentional misuse, destruction, loss, unauthorized changes or access.

The manager of the personal data collection has taken technical, personnel and organizational measures to protect personal data that are necessary to protect personal data from accidental loss or destruction and from unauthorized access, unauthorized alteration, unauthorized publication and any other misuse, and has established the obligation of persons employed in data processing to sign a confidentiality statement.

The user of the website hulm.hr has the right to receive information about the collection and processing of his/her personal data from the manager of the personal data collection. The manager of the personal data collection will deliver to each user of the website, at his/her request or the request of his/her legal representatives or attorneys, no later than 30 days from the date of submission of the request:

  • provide confirmation of whether or not personal data relating to him are being processed, provide information in an intelligible form about the data relating to him which is being processed and about the source of such data, enable access to the records of the personal data collection and access to the personal data contained in the personal data collection relating to him and their transcription, provide extracts, confirmations or printouts of the personal data contained in the personal data collection relating to him, which must also contain an indication of the purpose and legal basis for the collection, processing and use of such data, provide a printout of data on who has obtained the personal data relating to him for use and for what purposes and on what legal basis, provide information on the logic of any automated data processing relating to him.

The manager of the personal data collection is obliged, at the request of the website user, or their legal representatives or attorneys, to supplement, amend or delete personal data if the data is incomplete, inaccurate or out of date.

Regardless of the request of the website user, if the manager of the personal data collection determines that personal data is incomplete, inaccurate or out of date, he or she will supplement or amend it himself or herself.

The manager of the personal data filing system is obliged to inform the person to whom the personal data relates and the recipients of the personal data of any additions, changes or deletions to personal data within 30 days at the latest.

When the user engages in certain activities on the website, such as opening a user account, using the online store, completing surveys, comments, publishing content, participating in competitions or prize games, sending feedback, requesting information about services, responding to a job advertisement, HULM may ask the user to provide certain additional personal data. HULM collects and uses personal data to enable users to use services and activities through the website, improve the operation of the website, create a database of users for the purpose of improving the service and/or marketing, contact users to deliver marketing communications, improve advertising and promotional activities, and analyze the use of the website. By providing personal data pursuant to the General Terms and Conditions for the Protection of Personal Data, the user agrees that HULM may use his/her personal data to persons associated with it for the purpose of marketing, conducting marketing and promotional activities, and delivering marketing notifications.

Any other provision of personal data to third parties may be carried out exclusively in accordance with legal regulations governing the protection of personal data.

ADDITIONS AND CORRECTIONS OF PERSONAL DATA

HULM  believes that each data subject should have the opportunity to ensure the accuracy, completeness and up-to-dateness of their personal data. If the user believes that their personal data is incomplete, inaccurate or not up-to-date, they can contact us by sending an e-mail to hulm@hulm.hr  and request the appropriate addition, modification or deletion of personal data.

HULM recommends that users update their personal information as soon as possible if it changes. Users may also request that their account information be deleted or removed.

DATA PROTECTION

HULM is extremely committed to the protection of personal data and has taken various precautions to protect the personal data of users. The user can access personal data on the website using a password and email address.

CONFIDENTIALITY OF THIRD PARTY DATA

The general terms and conditions of personal data protection apply only to the use and utilization of data that HULM  collects from respondents.
